Need I remind you that it is January and I am in Massachusetts? What is up with this weather(although I am loving it!)

The baby pigs at Alison's farm camp. The 10 piglets were born Monday. Hard to tell from these pics, but they are so tiny and adorable. The same does not go for their mother...

We are on day 10 (or is it 11?) of rain. I can't wait to see the sun come back. We have lucked out though and our basement has not flooded. We used to get 4-6 feet of water in storms, but the new sump pump is doing great. Many parts of our state are totally flooded. Rivers and lakes have flooded for miles and thousands of people were evacuated. So far our river(a few miles away) is doing okay. Let's see how it is Thursday when the rain finally stops.

Onto other news. We finally had our new dryer installed today. I felt bad for the 2 guys doing it. They had to lug the old one out. Which means carrying it up those few narrow steps, through our house with narrow doorways and then down the stairway on the other side and out. Then they had to bring the new one in the same way. Yikes. Gotta love 200 year old houses. I know that I don't have enough excitement in my life when I was excited to test out the new dryer. Time to get out more I think...lol.

Heather has learned how to accessorize. I knew it was only a matter of time with her having a Diva for a sister. Now every morning Heather wants to look through her shoes and decide which to wear. She asks me to do her hair and then examins it closely in the mirror to make sure I did it right.
Here is a picture I took yesterday. She came out with the hat on and asked me to put on her ballet slippers.



Well Heather's Pt is almost done working with her here and we need to go to the store. After the store we are getting Alison and taking her to swim then dance. Busy kid. And she asked last week if I can sign her up for figure skating too. I said nope and next year she can only do 2 things at a time!!
