Last Friday I had the chance to go into Alison's third grade class for Colonial Day. They have been studying the Revolutionary War and they have each studied a person who lived in Lexington, ma in the year 1775. Colonial Day gave them a chance to show off their facts and have some good old colonial fun! They made Johnny Cakes, used quill pens, played stilts and hoops and I helped them all make Whirligigs.

Right after that I headed to Heather's preschool for their big brunch. Her class had been preparing for this for weeks and she was beyond excited for me to come in!
proud of her place mats and flower vase she made
