Monday, April 17

I spent the entire day sitting with Alison watching the Boston Marathon. She did not want to leave until the runners were all gone by. We were sitting for 2 hours after most of the other people had gone home. But she had fun just being outside. I was impressed with how many runners I saw this year running on behalf of Children's hospital, Dana Farber, American Cancer Society and Mass General Pediatric Cancer research. What a bunch of amazing people to run for those great causes.I also had to add that I saw more than 1 runner wearing shirts that said I love Dirty Water. So my song is perfect for marathon day. The Boston marathon is run along the Charles River, the dirty water in my blog song..lol.

I hope everyone had a nice Easter. This year we had a nice, calm Easter and spent most of the day with my parents and brother. We had dinner with them and played outside for hours with the kids. Alison was up at the crack of dawn wanting her Easter basket. Heather saw her basket and was so funny. She was so excited. She loved finding the eggs too. The Easter bunny hid the hard boiled ones inside and plastic ones in the yard. Heather walked around all morning holding a white chocolate bunny and nibbling it. She kept telling everyone that it was an easter bunny cookie.

Now for the pictures~

Saturday Alison went to a party. My friend Aimee's daughter was turning 8. It was a cute party. The kids danced, did karaoke(way too funny) and got their hair and make up done. I posted a few pictures(with Aimee's ok) :)

Alison and Nicole again. The height difference cracks me up. The girls are the same age.

Alison had a great time and talked about it all Saturday night. Thanks for inviting her Aimee. :)

And I have to share this..Saturday night I realized at about 9 pm that I never bought Easter baskets. I bought the stuff to fill them, but no baskets. I had to go to 4 stores before I found any left. Not a fun night!

Sunday, April 9

We took the girls to the mall yesterday to see the Easter Bunny. I wasn't sure how Heather would react to a 6 foot tall bunny. She was excited until it was time to sit with him, then she started to get a little worried. But once she saw Alison sitting there, she decided she would too. She had no intentions of smiling, but I will take a no smile picture over a screaming pic any day!
