Jacob is 11 weeks old. Growing great according to his daddy. He is making all sorts of sounds now. I have gotten the chance to skype with the 3 of them a few times and it is nice to "see" them all. I look at Jacob and am amazed that that little person grew inside of me. My husband said "your kids grew inside of you too." I told him it is impossible to explain to someone who hasn't been a surrogate themselves. It is very surreal. I see my kids daily growing up and know they are mine. I see Jacob and he is always bigger than the last time I saw him and it amazes me that this little person who is not mine came from inside of me.
My older girls are almost done with school. When we moved here, I wasn't sure how they would do. Alison was having some problems with the girls in our old town(very snobby) and has thrived here. She has a huge circle of friends and loves it here. She is always having sleep overs or over friends and I love seeing her come out of her shell. Heather has made friends here and is happy too. I am not a fan of her school academically. She is extremely smart and they don't do anything to challenge her. I am hoping next year she gets a teacher who tries a little bit harder.

Awesome post. So glad that Alison having a better time in your new town. Awesome...
I'm so glad Alison had a better year and adjusted to the new school well!! Having good friends and not having to deal with social issues makes such a HUGE difference!! We are struggling with that stuff with 2 of my girls and it sucks.
I hope Heather gets a more challenging teacher next year!! Good for her for being such a smart cookie! :)
